Monthly goals
Monthly goals give you four targets for the whole business and show how you’re doing on the Overview, every day.
Open Monthly goalsWhich goals can I set?
Section titled “Which goals can I set?”| Goal | What it measures | Measured over |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly sales | Revenue (sales after refunds, without tips) | This month so far, with the pace for the whole month |
| Rebook rate | Share of clients who have a next visit booked | The last 30 days |
| New-client return rate | Share of new clients who came back | The last 30 days |
| Utilization | Share of clocked hours spent with clients | The last 30 days |
Goals are for the whole business (every location together) and repeat every month. The rates use the last 30 days because a month-to-date rate jumps around early in the month.
How do I set my goals?
Section titled “How do I set my goals?”- Go to Settings > Monthly goals and press Set goals (or Edit goals). You can also press Review on the Overview’s line Set monthly goals: suggested from your history.
- Each box shows a suggestion under it, worked out from your own numbers. Type your target, or keep the suggestion.
- Leave a box empty for no goal on that one.
- Press Save goals.
Where do the suggestions come from?
Section titled “Where do the suggestions come from?”From your business’s history: sales from your best recent months (the last 6 months), and each rate from the last 90 days plus 5 points, so the goal is a stretch but reachable. A new business may see “Not enough history to suggest one yet”.
How do I read the goals on the Overview?
Section titled “How do I read the goals on the Overview?”At the bottom of the Overview (today only), each goal has a thin bar:
- Monthly sales: “of $12,000 · on pace for $12,400”. The pace is this month so far, stretched to the whole month.
- Rates: for example “goal 50% · last 30 days”.
A bar turns green when you’re on pace (sales) or at the goal (rates). Tap a goal to open its report: Sales for this month, Clients or Team for the last 30 days.
Who can set goals?
