Add your business

The first time you sign in, FocalPOS asks you to create a business. It’s a three-part form and takes about three minutes.

Open FocalPOS

1. On the New Business tab, start with Business info: enter your Business name, Business email, Phone number and Timezone. Press Next.

   Pick the time zone your salon is in, not where you are right now. Every booking and reminder uses it.

2. Business address: Address line 1, City, State and ZIP code. Address line 2 is optional. Press Next.

3. First location: this is the place clients come to. Give it a Location name (for example “Main Street”), a Phone number and Timezone.

   If the salon is at the business address, leave Use business address switched on. Otherwise switch it off and enter the location’s address.

4. Press Create business. You’ll see “Business created” and land on your dashboard.

Good to know

• Phone numbers must be 10-digit US numbers for now, and time zones are US time zones.
• Invited to someone else’s salon instead? Open the Invitations tab and press Accept.
• Prices are in US dollars.
• To change anything later, go to Business in the sidebar, open your business and press Edit.
