A resource is anything a service needs that you only have so many of: pedicure chairs, a facial room, a laser machine. Link it to services and FocalPOS won’t book more at once than you have.

Add a resource

1. Go to Services → Resources and press Add Resource.
2. Basic Info: a Resource Name (e.g. Pedicure Chair) and Quantity Available (how many you have).
3. Services: pick the services that use it, and how many each one needs (Quantity Required).
4. Press Create Resource.

Example: 4 pedicure chairs, and Spa Pedicure needs 1. A fifth pedicure at the same time can’t be booked, even with a free technician.
