Card processing statements
यो पेज अझै नेपालीमा उपलब्ध छैन, त्यसैले अंग्रेजीमा देखाइएको छ।
Statements (in the sidebar, under Transaction) shows your monthly card processing statement from Fiserv: what Fiserv paid you this month, and what it cost. It follows the sections of Fiserv’s own statement in CardPointe, so you don’t have to sign in there.
Open StatementsHow do I open a month’s statement?
Section titled “How do I open a month’s statement?”- Open Statements in the sidebar.
- Pick the Statement month (it opens on last month). If you have several Fiserv accounts, pick the Merchant account too.
The top shows the merchant number, the period, the status and when it was last copied from Fiserv (“Synced Oct 5, 6:10 AM”). FocalPOS copies the data from Fiserv about once an hour.
What does the status mean?
Section titled “What does the status mean?”- Month in progress: the month isn’t over; these are the figures so far.
- Fees post at month end: sales are in, but the month’s fees aren’t charged yet.
- Complete: the month’s fees are in. Fiserv may still add a late adjustment or chargeback.
What’s on the statement?
Section titled “What’s on the statement?”The tiles add up like this:
Amount submitted + Paid by others + Disputes + Adjustments + Fees = Amount processed (what you keep)
Then:
- Fee rate (fees as a share of sales, once the month is complete), Average ticket, Card sales and Refunds.
- FocalPOS card sales, 13 months: your card sales by month as FocalPOS recorded them, with new and repeat customers. They can differ a little from Fiserv’s figures.
- Chargebacks (only when there are any): sales a cardholder disputed. Fiserv takes the amount back while the case is open. A chargeback links to that day’s payments.
- Summary by day: each day’s submitted amount, fees, disputes and adjustments.
- Summary by card type: Visa, Mastercard and so on, with each one’s share and average ticket.
- Fee summary: what Fiserv charged to authorize, process and settle the month’s card sales, in three groups: interchange and program fees (set by the card brands), service charges, and authorization, network and account fees.
- Amounts funded: each deposit to your bank, with the date funded and the bank account.
- Adjustments (only when there are any): corrections and reversals Fiserv made.
- Batches: the card sales sent to Fiserv each night for settlement.
When does my money arrive?
Section titled “When does my money arrive?”Card sales are sent to Fiserv in a nightly batch. Deposits appear 1 to 2 business days after settlement. Weekend and holiday sales arrive on the next business days.
If your account is billed monthly, the month’s fees come out in one month-end charge early the next month. That’s why Amounts funded for September includes August’s month-end charge, and its total isn’t the same as September’s Amount processed.
How do I download or print a statement?
Section titled “How do I download or print a statement?”- Download PDF: saves the month’s statement as a PDF (for example
Statement Downtown LLC 2026-09.pdf), with every section and page numbers. Send it to your bookkeeper or keep it for taxes. - Print: prints a clean copy of the statement.
Older statements, from before FocalPOS had your Fiserv data, are in CardPointe under Reporting > Statements. The link is at the bottom of the page.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Why is my deposit less than my sales?
Section titled “Why is my deposit less than my sales?”The deposit is card sales minus refunds, fees taken that day, chargebacks and adjustments. Cash sales are never in it, and card tips are. See Why doesn’t revenue match my bank deposit?
Why is a deposit missing?
Section titled “Why is a deposit missing?”It’s probably not funded yet: deposits appear 1 to 2 business days after settlement. A note “Deposits appear 1-2 business days after settlement” means Fiserv hasn’t funded the first batch yet.
“Fiserv isn’t sending deposit data for this account”
Section titled ““Fiserv isn’t sending deposit data for this account””Fiserv’s funding data isn’t switched on for your account, so funding figures show “–” and Fee summary and Amounts funded are left out. Ask Fiserv support (or [email protected]) to turn on funding data.
A batch is red (“Rejected”, “Partly rejected” or “No confirmation”)
Section titled “A batch is red (“Rejected”, “Partly rejected” or “No confirmation”)”Some or all of that night’s card sales weren’t accepted by Fiserv and won’t be funded. Contact Fiserv support with the batch number. The headline says “1 of 30 batches needs a look” when this happens.
“No statement for August 2025”
Section titled ““No statement for August 2025””FocalPOS only has your Fiserv data from the date shown on the page. Earlier statements are in CardPointe under Reporting > Statements.
“Nothing synced from Fiserv yet”
Section titled ““Nothing synced from Fiserv yet””Your account was connected recently. Data is copied about once an hour; check back later.
“Statements need report access”
Section titled ““Statements need report access””You can see reports at some locations only. Statements need report access for the whole business: ask the business owner.
I don’t see Statements in the sidebar
Section titled “I don’t see Statements in the sidebar”Your business has no Fiserv card account, or you can’t see reports for the whole business.
